Mythopoeic Award nomination for The Line Between

Peter S. Beagle has been nominated for The Line Between for a 2007 Mythopoeic Award in the adult fantasy literature category.

The Mythopoeic Award is considered one of the most prestigious awards for fantasy literature, and is well-known within the library and academic communities.

From the website:

Founded in 1967, The Mythopoeic Society is a non-profit international literary and educational organization for the study, discussion, and enjoyment of fantastic and mythic literature, especially the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Charles Williams. Membership in the Mythopoeic Society is open to all scholars, writers, and readers of these literatures.

The winners of this year’s awards will be announced during Mythcon XXXVIII, to be held from August 3-6, 2007, in Berkeley, California.

Tachyon's got four authors with nominations in addition to Peter Beagle: Susan Palwick, Tim Powers, and Nina Kiriki Hoffman.
